Consistent routines can be set up from the outset with Montessori methods introduced into the home environment.
At 3 years, if not already attending a Montessori preschool, begin your child’s preschool education now to ensure readiness for Montessori Primary.
Between 3 and 4 years of age, we invite you to attend a Parent Information Evening (PIE). These Evenings are offered once each term.
Once you have attended a PIE, our Administrator can arrange a Classroom Observation and Discussion appointment with our lead teacher at Montessori@Arataki (M@A) or Montessori@Bellevue (M@B).
An Application Form will be made available after your Discussion appointment.
At this time you may wish to complete the paperwork required for Arataki and Bellevue Primary schools (if you have not already done so). This Application process can be completed online.
At 5 years, your child can either remain at Montessori preschool or be eligible to start at Montessori@Bellevue. At 5.5 years your child is eligible to start at Montessori@Arataki.
During the term prior to your child starting with us, one of our teachers will visit your child in their preschool environment and your child will begin transition visits, welcoming them into their new learning community at Montessori@Arataki or Montessori@Bellevue.
At this time you will be invited to a short orientation at your child’s new school.
Between age 5-6 years, your child will commence the next stage of their Montessori education journey at either Montessori@Arataki or Montessori@Bellevue!!
