How to Enrol: We operate a dual enrolment process through TMET and your school of choice

How to Enrol at Montessori@Arataki and Montessori@Bellevue

• Congratulations on the birth of a future well-rounded citizen! Between age 0-3, consistent routines can be set up with Montessori methods introduced into the home environment.
• At 3 years (or earlier) begin your child’s Montessori preschool education to ensure readiness for Montessori Primary.
• At around 4 years of age, we invite you to attend a Parent Information Evening (PIE). These Evenings are offered once each term.
• Following this, our Administrator can arrange a Classroom Observation appointment. This is an opportunity to spend approximately 30 minutes observing the 3 hour work cycle in action.
• The next step is a Discussion appointment with a TMET representative. An Application Form for the Montessori classroom at your chosen school will be made available after your Discussion appointment.
• You will also be requested to complete the paperwork required for Arataki or Bellevue School. Each school's enrolment process can be completed online. Due to both schools being zoned EARLY ENROLMENT IS STRONGLY ADVISED FOR OUT OF ZONE APPLICANTS.
• We request at least 2 years of Montessori preschool experience and for children to transition straight from Montessori preschool.
• Between 5.5 to 6 years, your child is eligible to start at Montessori@Arataki and Montessori@Bellevue, subject to enrolment acceptance by your chosen school.
• During the term prior to starting with us, your child will have 3 transition visits welcoming them into their new school learning community.
• At the beginning of the relevant school term, your child will commence the next stage of their Montessori journey by joining us at Montessori@Arataki or Montessori@Bellevue!
