The Arataki School community is warm, welcoming, and centred on helping every child thrive.

Established in 2016, Montessori@Arataki provides Montessori primary education for children up to Y6. Our classrooms foster independence, curiosity, responsibility, and a love of learning, while allowing each child to progress at their own pace.

As part of Arataki School, students benefit from both an authentic Montessori environment and the wider opportunities of a vibrant school community.

Supported by the Tauranga Montessori Education Trust (TMET), Montessori@Arataki helps children grow into confident and capable learners.

Through hands-on learning, personalised pathways, and a carefully prepared environment, children develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Teachers guide and support each child’s progress while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and responsibility.
