Donations

TMET requests donations to cover the costs of delivering a Montessori education that are not funded by the Ministry of Education. These include:

A portion of teaching salaries for classrooms where rolls are below MoE-prescribed levels;
Wages for Teacher Aides/support staff focused on Montessori delivery;
Release days for teachers for Montessori specific work;
Montessori teacher education/professional development;
Montessori-specific teaching materials and resources;
Practical life costs;
MANZ Family Membership Fee;
Stationery costs; and
Administration costs

All donations paid to TMET are tax-deductible. Requested Donation Amounts:

Initial Donation (Montessori Resources Contribution): $1000
Term Donation requested at the start of each term: $535

Additional voluntary donations are gratefully received and tax deduction certificates can be issued accordingly. On occasion TMET may also ask the Montessori community for certain goods and/or services in connection with specific projects or working bees.
