Consistent routines can be set up from the outset with Montessori methods introduced into the home environment.
At 3 years, if not already attending a Montessori preschool, begin your child’s preschool education now to ensure readiness for Montessori Primary.
Between 3 and 4 years of age, we invite you to attend a Parent Information Evening (PIE). These Evenings are offered once each term.
Once you have attended a PIE, our Administrator can arrange a Classroom Observation and Discussion appointment with our lead teacher at Montessori@Arataki (M@A) or Montessori@Bellevue (M@B).
An Application Pack will be made available after your Discussion appointment.”
At 5 years, your child will enjoy another year’s full-time preparation for school at their Montessori preschool.
At this time you may wish to complete the paperwork required for Arataki and Bellevue Primary schools (if you have not already done so). Application packs can be picked up from the respective school offices.
During the term prior to your child turning 6, they will be welcomed in to their new learning community at M@A or M@B. One of our teachers will visit your child in their preschool environment and your child will begin transition visits.
At this time you will be invited to a short orientation at your child’s new school.
At the start of the term during which your child turns 6, they will commence the next stage of their Montessori education journey at M@A or M@B!
